The difference between them is that aliphatic is a better protector of UV rays than aromatic coating but aliphatic coating produces stronger odor than aromatic coating. The coating helps the roof in protection from scraping down. Its high protection characteristic makes it a preferred choice in areas prone to hailstorms and with potential pedestrian traffic.
Silicone Roof Coatings –
A layer of silicone is applied to a roof in silicone roof coating to protect it from cracks, blisters, and seams. They usually used in areas where a lot of rain happens because it is one of the best waterproof coatings available on the market. It is also a great reflection of ultraviolet rays and sunlight. It makes the roof cool hence making the building cooler than usual. But silicone coating is the most expensive one among others.
